Nick Wyckoff

Originally from Michigan, Nick got his start building and operating zero gravity payloads for NASA’s KC-135 microgravity simulator. Since those five hours of blissful weightlessness he’s been buried in powerpoint, flying through CAD and destructively testing anything he can get his hands on. A detail oriented engineer by day, an outdoorsman on the weekends and a writer when it rains, Nick’s experiences with space and defense engineering have taught him to always ask the important question before you start tinkering with new science. How can this go wrong?

With nearly two decades of engineering, security and policy experience, Nick is uniquely positioned to write complex narratives that intertwine futuristic science, the employment of joint combined arms, espionage and politics centered around characters who behave realistically. Whether it’s a science mission into an unknown environment, a zero gravity repair mission or a security operation, Nick’s personal experience shapes the actions of his characters.
